Curcumin is difficult for the body to absorb. Absorption of Curcumin appears to improve when it is consumed with food, because food contains fats, which enhance absorption because curcumin is highly lipophilic. When curcumin is administered orally without food, clinical trials have found that very little Curcumin is absorbed.

Adding medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), as we have done in our CoCurcumin formula, to curcumin preparations can enhance the bioavailability of curcumin manyfold. MCTs are unique form of dietary fat that impart a wide range of positive health benefits. MCTs have proven useful in supporting normal lipid (fat) metabolism.

One teaspoon contains:
Pure Curcuminoids: 2.4 gm
Medium Chain Triglycerides (known as MCT (coconut)):  2.4 gm
Co-Q10: 100 mg
Trikatu (Piper longum, Piper nigrum and Zingiber officinal):100 mg
